Default There seems to be a serious problem.

Okay. Too much abuse. Minions now run away from the battle at low health? So not only do I only get 10 minions, I only get 10 cowards? That's just beating it into the ground. Minion Masters are like the only build Necromancers have left, even though I openly admit that SS was long over due for a nerf.

Seriously, I don't care. Make it so Minions stand in AoE spells. At least then they're attacking and not running behind the group.

That really sucks. So many issues now and I really hope they don't sour the release of Nightfall. Imo Anet changed to much at one time and at the wrong time with Nightfall releasing a little over 24 hours after such a major update.

Yeah, I know. There's plenty of other things. FoC bombing, blood support. Heck, Icy Veins is godly now. But still. Minions just plain old suck now. This really needs to be fixed. Minions are so incredibly broken right now it's not even funny.

Well even if minions take damage it wouldnt matter. Mostly people use them for body blocking and heck with aoe nerfs we really should have seen something to improve mms.. but .. oh well. Minions should be fixed as you can have an unlimited supply in the right area and are needed for the wall they make.

I noticed this last night. Flesh golem is even flakier than he was before, and instead of just being slow to join in on fights occasionally, he almost never did anything but stand there. In addition, all of my minions, if at about 1/3 health, not only stopped fighting but actually ran away about an aggro bubble away and behind me.

*ponders* yeah, it does make sense for AI to make monsters run out of AOE, but minions are brainless bodies under the control of a necro - it would make more sense for them to do whatever their master commanded, even if it were destructive to themselves. :P

i love smart people, a good battery still can do damage

I don't get people, we (including myself) all complained about how stupid minions where because we'd only get 10 and then they'd just stand in a meteor shower like tards, now when we get it people still complain "i raise an army of cowards? gg anet" well, i don't know what to say, give me stupid minions and cowards please Anet, make my tank minions stupid and my other ones smart ^^

Yes, you are correct. Here is the latest news report:

We've gotten reports, and have observed, that minions are showing a previously untoward shyness towards fulfilling their battle obligations. We expect this is not a planned work slowdown, and certainly our boney and fleshy friends are too dedicated to the causes of Right to stage an all-out strike on Nightfall eve!

We are currently investigating the odd behavior of the minions. It is bugged, and we will resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Thanks for your reports and for your patience. There are a gazillion and four items on the agenda just now, but we will deal with this very promptly!

Gaile thanks for telling us that. Tell the devs thanks 4 trying to fix these probs some of us really appreciate it rather than just bashing em 4 their mistakes.

totally......I was going to send my SS in first (most successful farmer character for me).....SS got killed, but I can switch to MM....ok that's useless.......could spec to my blood degen/anti caster pvp build....but that's not what I prefer to do in pve.....

Cleaned up the thread. You can take personal issue to errors in the update, and the decisions of Anet, but they don't belong in every thread. This thread is about problems with minions. Nothing more, nothing less. Maybe some related topic mentions, but not that.

i noticed similar problem... sometimes minions doesn't follow because they have low health... rather annoy when you want to heal them using heal area...

Anyone else have the problem u sent them in to fight/tank and they dont hold aggro. I used to just send them in then take a few steps back and hope the 10 of them take the hits. Seems no matter what the mobs will chase after me even if i do nothing.
